After years of fueling gym goers and dominating social feeds, the licensing agreement with Mondelez that helped catapult GHOST® Supplements into the spotlight has officially come to an end.

This marks a major turning point for the brand and sparks big questions about what’s next for the lifestyle-driven supplement powerhouse, as well as the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry as a whole.

So, what does this mean for GHOST fans? Devotees of GHOST’s iconic collab flavors–like Sour Patch Kids, Sour Strips, Swedish Fish, Bubbilcious, and others–will have to start scouting for new favorites.

Our team at The Lift Box and Headlines Over Sidelines has worked with CEO and Founder, Dan Lourenco, of Ghost since 2019, co-launching products over the years. To see Mondelez has decided to not move forward with the GHOST team in their next chapter is a total shock.

“GHOST has been one of our most valued and enduring partners at The Lift Box. Mondelez’s decision to end their partnership is deeply disappointing. For years, GHOST has set the standard in innovation, branding, and industry-leading flavor collaborations. Just as important, Ryan and Dan lead with integrity, professionalism, and purpose–values that resonate far beyond the products themselves. I have no doubt this will only sharpen their edge and accelerate GHOST’s continued dominance in the space,” says The Lift Box CEO and Founder, Adam Lien.

While flavor collaborations have become a huge pillar and asset within the CPG space, many believe the end of the 7-year-long partnership between GHOST and Mondelez is not the end of great flavored products.

“It’s definitely going to sting a little bit not being able to grab a Sour Patch Kids energy drink or Oreo protein off the shelves but I have zero doubt the team has fun and exciting product launches and collabs in the works. These types of collaboration and partnership products are here to stay with Keurig Dr. Pepper now having ownership of GHOST, and it’s only going to open more doors,” says The Lift Box CMO and Co-Owner, Dan Cafferky.

We have no doubt the GHOST team will rebuild their iconic flavor lineup brick by brick, making them even more LEGENDARY.

In the meantime, fans should stock up on some of the very last production runs of various flavors while they’re still available in stores.
